Halloween Party Snack Ideas

Are you a big fan of Halloween? Do you plan on having a big Halloween Party at your place this year? Do you want to scare the pants of some trick-or-treaters? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, then you will definitely welcome our party snack ideas. The great things about these snacks is that they are very cheap and easy to make so, you won’t have to spend more than a couple of hours in the kitchen.

Bloody punch

If you want to impress your friends with a punch that is not only delicious but also related to your spooky party theme, you definitely need to consider this bloody punch idea. Start by preparing your favorite punch. Make sure to use some cranberry juice or Grenadine syrup in order for it to turn out red. Next, take some clean plastic gloves and fill them with water. Place them in the freezer and leave them there for a few hours. When the water will have turned to ice, remove the plastic gloves (you may need to cut them). You will now have a hand shaped ice block that will look very spooky in your bloody punch. Make sure to have at least 2-3 ice hands so that you can replace them when they melt in the punch.

For this next treat, you will need some sausages, an onion and some ketchup. Cut the sausages in finger-size pieces. Slightly cut them in the middle in order to create the illusion of knuckles. Now choose one end as the tip of a finger and cut a thin layer of the sausage. Cover that cut with an onion layer which was previously shaped as a nail. Do this to all of your sausages, then put them in the oven for a couple of minutes (if you leave them in for too long, the sausages will expand and pop, thus ruining the finger effect). When they are slightly toasted, put them on a plate with ketchup at the base of the “fingers”.

Jello warms

This is probably the grossest snack idea but it can make for a great dare at your Halloween party. Simply take some jello mixture, pour it in drinking straws and allow it to harden. After a few hours, take some small scissors and carefully cut open the straws in order to reveal the jello warms. If you want to make things even grosser, you can serve the jello on a bed of chocolate biscuit crumbs which will look like dirt.

Since you will ve serving such scary snacks, you should not neglect your costume since it is an essential part of the party. You can’t control the costumes that your guests will be wearing, but as a host, your costume should be spectacular.
